Enough already!
The diving weather's been challenging most of the winter and has kept us ashore more than I like so you can imagine that I was pretty excited about the air temperature being warm again and that even the water temperature started to go up some. Was the winter weather over? Was the spring here a little early and bring us some nice diving conditions? It sure looked like that for a bit, until... another winter storm... Yuk! And it was a bad one too, I feel sorry for all the poor people in the northeast that have to weather the storm over there but down here in sunny Jupiter Florida, it surely messes with our diving plans.
The waves have been bigger than big and we're once again we're stuck on shore. It's been almost a week since I've been in the water and I'm starting to get a little frustrated. My gills are drying out and I'm so looking forward to getting back in the water so I can swim around with all my underwater friends.
The forecast is looking much better for this coming weekend and into next week so fingers crossed that it'll be nice above and underwater as well. The reefs are so active at the moment, with the number of fish & critters along the ledges, the lemon sharks still here and the increase of Loggerhead turtles, every dive is amazing. Let's go diving!
