SEAS: 1-2ft
VIZ: 40ft
CURRENT: Minimal North
WATER TEMP: 73 degrees
divemaster log:
First drop on Spadefish point, we discovered a hefty thermoclyne with 73 degrees on the bottom, minimal to none for the north current . We still had a good dive, we found a spotted moray, big Lionfish, 3 Goliaths, huge schools of spadefish, jacks, and yellowtail snapper, along with a beautiful pair of stonefish that may have been mating. Second drop on Finz den, similar conditions, slightly warmer with 75 degrees kn the bottom. We dropped right on a sleeping nurse shark under the ledge, spotted some more Goliaths, a green moray eel, and 2 awesome hawksbills, lots of colorful reef and fish!! See y’all tomorrow for more action! Bring your wetsuits we may still have the thermoclyne tomorrow!
